OT General Overview

Occupational Therapy

 

We support children, adolescents and adults with a range of developmental, emotional, and functional needs, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (Levels 1–3)

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

  • Learning and intellectual disabilities

  • Anxiety and emotional regulation challenges

  • Trauma and stress‑related presentations

  • Sensory processing differences

  • Developmental coordination and motor planning difficulties

  • Executive functioning challenges

  • School readiness and participation difficulties

 

Support may include:

  • Functional and sensory assessments

  • Emotional and behavioural regulation programs

  • Fine and gross motor skill development

  • Daily living skills support (self‑care, routines, accessing the community)

  • School‑based strategies and collaboration

  • Environmental adaptations

  • Parent coaching

 

Services are individualised, strengths‑based, and goal‑driven.

In person support for the southern Gold Coast to Northern NSW (Potsville, NSW) and via Telehealth nationwide

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Funding

 

We work with self‑managed and plan‑managed NDIS participants (not NDIA-managed).

Our reports and interventions focus on:

  • Functional impact 

  • Capacity building and participation

  • Clear, evidence‑based recommendations

  • Collaborative goal setting with families and caregivers

 

We have extensive experience writing high‑quality NDIS functional capacity assessments and supporting families through reviews, changes of circumstances, and appeals.

  • Assessment/Report Writing/Therapy:
    NDIS $193.99 per hour

  • Therapy Sessions: Typically 60 minutes (45 minutes face-to-face and 15 minutes for planning and administration). Session length can be adjusted as needed with parent/carer approval.

  • Travel: $70 per hour and $1 per kilometre, charged on a pro-rata basis

Private Paediatric Occupational Therapy

 

Easy Peasy Therapy offers private occupational therapy for children and adults who are finding everyday life a little harder than it should be.

We support people with differences in regulation, sensory processing, motor skills, attention, emotions, and participation – and we support the caregivers around them too. Our therapy is practical, individualised, and grounded in real life, not just clinic tasks.

 

Our private OT services focus on:

  • Emotional regulation and nervous system support

  • Sensory processing differences

  • Fine and gross motor skills

  • Daily living skills and routines

  • School participation and transitions

  • Confidence, independence, and self‑advocacy

 

 

Fees & Funding

  • Elise Easdown (Senior Occupational Therapist): $220 per hour

  • Roxane Carbery (Occupational Therapist): $200 per hour

  • Nicola Dolan: (Intermediate Occupational Therapist) $210 per hour

 

Medicare

 

We are able to provide services that may be covered by Medicare funding with an appropriate doctor’s referral under the Chronic Disease Management Program (formerly known as the Enhanced Primary Care Plan).

 

Please note:

  • A gap payment applies for all Medicare clients

  • You are unable to claim a rebate from both Medicare and private health insurance for the same service

  • A gap payment will also apply for private health insurance clients

 

Travel

  • Travel time is charged at the same hourly rate as the service provided

  • Kilometre rate: $1 per kilometre
